  • Fact or Fiction.
     OP - July 29, 2014, 09:09 PM

    Person 1 states something.
Person 2 has to guess if it is "fact" or "fiction".
Person 1 then tells 2 if they are right or wrong.
If Person 2 is correct, they get to state something.
(If they are wrong, Person 1 gets to have another go)
    etc..

*If you have that someone has posted more than two statements at any given period, feel free to step in and post your own.
This makes sense otherwise the game will just be between two people.

  • Fact or Fiction.

Example: China has around 64 million vacant homes, including entire cities that are empty.

The answer would be "fact" (although the actual number of 64 million is subject to some variation)

I've read somewhere that they are naturally radioactive, but not enough to harm anyone.

My guess is that your statement is a fact.

After INce guesses if my last post is fact or fiction, I will stop playing the game until someone else enters the mix.
Otherwise, it will just become a two-horse race.

Could someone else post a statement?

    Fact.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Yes. Both judaism (or its origins/early version) included a wife. Mormonism also teaches about Yahwe having a wife.

No, I answered Qtian and if I'm right I get to ask a question, if not Qtian gets to ask another.

Thought I was just going crazy.

EDIT: You have the rules right Quod, but you misunderstood Qtian. He wasn't asking if it was fact or fiction(at least that's what I gathered from the context). He was asking if someone else could post a statement(for someone else to answer about whether its true or false).

I think the game could use a bit of a rule change.

Qtian, if I may suggest a rule change, I think something like a scoreboard could be kept. Similar to the "Truth or er....truth?" a player would respond to the above player then make a statement of his own. if a player gets the answer right, he gets a point, otherwise the inquirer gets a point.

Yeah I agree, this current format is a headache lol.
Let me post the new rules Tongue

New rules (scoreboard system as suggested by xtreme.

You now have to post your own statement whilst answering the previous statement.

E.g. if person X says "the earth is flat"

You would answer fact/fiction and then post your own statement.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I.e.

    Answer example:        Fiction.
Statement example: " Brazil is in Europe."

    --------------------------------------------------------------

If you guess right then you will be allocated +1 point.
If you guess wrong I will subtract 1 point from your total.
I will do the scoreboard work so you guys don't need to worry.

You will have to wait for the person who posted before you to reveal if their statement is fact or fiction before we can proceed.

E.g. If Person A states "x" and person B guesses that it is fiction, we will have to wait for Person A to state if their statement is fact or fiction before we can continue.

I'm also aware that the above may make no sense whatsoever, so feel free to ask for a clarification before posting.

The new rules are now in effect.

    Thanks!

Since we are now using a new system, I will post a statement.
The next person to post has to guess if my statement is fact/fiction and offer their own statement.

I don't think a separate thread is needed. I think any format would require either:
    A)active modding on your end
    or
    B)really active and consistent players
