It's not a choice, it's just the simple fact that I'm straight. Though I can look at a man and know if he's ugly average or handsome, it makes no difference to me. Either way there's just simply no appeal. I've never been uncomfortable with homosexuality, it just does nothing for me. I can watch two hot women together and find it appealing, I can watch two hot men, and there's nothing. I'm not disgusted or repulsed in any way, I'm just completely unmoved.

This. Male/male sex is a bit like Morris dancing for me. Some people are into it. It's harmless, and seems to amuse them. As long as I'm not obliged to participate, no worries. Afro

I've never had any interest in girls, I'd comfortably say I'm heterosexual. The odd thing is I can sometimes find male/male stuff a turn-on but female/female stuff is neither appealing nor repulsive. It's just meh.

Female-on-female porn is meh to me too. I watch gay porn, hetero porn, bisexual porn, and solo men and women porn. But put two women together and I'm not moved much.

When I was 11-13 I used to get a boner just looking at a women for more than 5 seconds.

Luckily I discovered porn later on and it stopped Smiley.

I suppose. However, let's not forget that there's still a stigma attached to such "deviant" sexualities, including bisexuality which suppresses its expression to a large extent.

For me, I have never felt attracted to women in real life but I do get turned on by female on female porn. And I would like to try and make out with a girl sometime but it's not the same as it is with guys. When I see a guy I'm attracted to, my heart immediately starts pounding and I want to jump him and shit. I've never had that with a woman, even though there are lots of women I think are really beautiful and/or sexy.

The future is full of thrilling possibilities.

What if its a hot man that looks more like a hot woman? This is the only reason why I think you're being dogmatic. Such people exist, and you're not really taking the possibility into account. You're just assuming that your named sexuality trumps all. I don't think its so clear cut is all.

I've hung out with drag queens and transsexuals enough to know that no matter how they look, they just don't do it for me. There are biological differences between men and women that are a factor in my attraction to them. Women feel taste and smell differently to men. But even without that, going just on looks alone it's just not something that does it for me. A good example would be when I'm feeling horny and search for a good porno to crack one off to. My porn tastes are actually quite wide so long as there are women. Male/female, female/female, male/female/female etc. I don't go for transsexual porn or pre-op porn. I like natural born women. But every now and then I'll load a random porno without realising one of the performers is a transsexual. I've actually seen some transsexuals you really couldn't tell at first glance used to be men, and are presented in ways I usually find appealing in women, but some reason I had little interest in them but couldn't put my finger on why exactly. Looking closer I begin to pick out certain things. The arse looks weird. The skin looks strange. The shoulders and hips are odd. The hands are weird. The bone structure is off. So I wouldn't say it's something that I'm not taking into account, there are just certain features, if that's the right word, that attract me which women process that men, and those who used to be men, just flat out don't.

Thinking more about it, an exception may be transsexuals who begin hormone therapy before or on the cusp of puberty. Kim Petras is an example off the top of my head. She underwent surgery at 16 but had been on a course of female hormones for a number of years beforehand (I believe she began at 12). The result was that she physically developed more like a woman than a man. In my personal life I've never known a transsexual to begin the hormonal process so early, so whether or not every instinct I have would be saying this is a woman, I couldn't say.

I think I am bi-curious. I generally prefer men, although I do get quite turned on by some women.
I have no idea how I would approach a woman and flirt with her though ....

"Can I touch your boobs, because I'm bored of my own?" doesn't sound like it would sweep a lady off her feet Grin

    It's a bitch ain't it. Grin

I haven't had sex for almost 12 years and I am not in any way attracted to my own sex. I have no problem with who are or being close friends even lending a shoulder (which has happened) to people. But I am just so straight it is not even funny.

That said, I *DO* have homosexual experiences from BEFORE I (and my *opponent*) came of age. But that was more experimentation than expressing our sexualities.

Interestingly, I am more attracted to intelligence and passion in a person than their gender specifically. I am interested in the "human" aspect of a person. I would be sexually attracted to transsexuals too. I have to get interested in the brain, in the way that person sees the world and processes information.

I like women more than men though, and I have always identified as bisexual from a young age, with more interest in women than in men. Now that I got older, it definitely got more intense, i.e I'm  interested in women for about 68% and 42% in men. It is a bit fluid. Growing up I was actually thinking that I am pretty much exclusively lesbian. My sexual dreams were involving more women than men later on, as well. I always tried to repress it though, thinking that it is a mental illness or something. I was told that I have to repress my interest in women. When becoming really conservative for a short period of time, I could not battle my sexual dreams or desire at all and I was going pretty crazy. I once asked about my problem from a "person of Islamic knowledge" that I have a very high sex drive and nothing helps (not even fasting, or whatever), I got told to fear Allah and pray for it to go away.

Yeah. Well the truth is, embrace your sexuality. You have to be reasonable. How can it be reasonable to repress something so important for one's well-being? The description of the people of Lut made me almost hate myself.

^  I previously thought that bi sexuality was a choice, i didnt know some people were naturally attracted to both sexes..  it was people on here that enlightened me..  I would label myself 100% straight but i have met random women in the past who i have had a instant connection with that did kind of disturb me in a way and them too probably  : ) but it wasnt physical attraction just something on a deeper level that i cannot understand and would prefer with a guy lol..

Life would be so much simpler if you just chose who you were attracted to. Less painful, less tragic, less tempestuous, less exciting, less delightfully surprising, but so much simpler.

I love how everyone here is comfortable having these kinds of conversations.  I love this community   far away hug Sorry didnt mean to get all gushy but I lubs yall

As I get older I realize you fall in love with the person and even though I am attracted to women I wont discount men.   It scares me however how many in the lesbian community find that a heresy.

I met a wonderful woman once she was visiting from the UK, I didnt know she was post op.  We hit it off, she was so scared to tell me but when she did I was amazed that I didnt recoil.    I enjoyed her company and it hurt me more thinking of not being around her than the thought of a dick hitting me in the face while.......Thankfully, the lady bits were there, that surgeon deserved a medal.

I remember thinking what if I had met her before her operation.  I still dont have an answer to that question.  I am thankful that I have been exposed to a segment of women who I didn't consider as potential mates until that encounter.
