    My recorded voice sucks and my voice is way too loud. When I laugh, the whole London can hear me.  Cheesy

    I almost have a good singing voice but I just can't hold some of the notes right, realistically, reading between the lines means I probably have a bad singing voice.

    Given that I spent 6 years of intensive tajweed and tarteel studies I would think that I must have achieved some kind of acceptable recitation Cheesy

    That’s actually fairly typical. I couldn’t tell you how many total hours I wasted in front of a shaikh mastering all the different “makhaarij.” It is intense.

    I know it is, I my ex sister in law was studying it at some point, do you guys regret all that time spending learning who to ee and ooo over the quran? Or is the knowledge useful still?
