    I found so many unhappy muslim responses to the youtube video on facebook. one being

    "Some very unfortunate misguided Muslims have released a music video to prove that they are happy. This video is so evidently fake that one can easily discern that these people are pretending. Some of them have their wives dancing in the video; others have partially hijaabed sisters jumping up and down; some are attempting to act cool. These people proved nothing but their ignorance and arrogance. Ignorance because they are confused about clear rulings in Islam. Arrogance because they don't care about their credibility. Are you happy because you are breaking the laws of Allah? How can you possibly be happy? We don't have to prove to anyone that we are "happy". Our happiness starts with the obedience of Allah and it diminishes by disobeying Him. May Allah bless you with the blessing of hayaa, ameen"
    o and they all tagging themselve as #unhappymuslim

    Not too fond of some of the people in it, but I like the video. I think we can all agree that a less batshit extreme islam is the way to go. Glad to see this, hope the attitude catches on.

    I'm not where I want to be in life but am much happier then when I was a muslim.

    I feel much more content and satisfied now that I have taken ownership and control over my own life instead of following some ancient rule book and praying to some imaginary allah to help me.


    Nothing is more liberating than leaving a totalitarian religion like islam and making yourself the master of your own life.

    In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living
