  • Which Fictional Realm/Place would you live in?

Which realm would you live in... and which part of the realm.

    All with reasons.

    Me:

    Middle-Earth,
    The Shire

A nice, relatively peaceful place with simple folk and a simple life. Green fields and a sense of serenity about the place. What more could I ask for?

The Shire is based on rural England, Somerset or something. So maybe you should move there.

In answer to your question, I cannot off the top of my head think of any fantasy realm that I would rather be in than the real world. But I'll think about it some more.

Well, there is the New Zealand set. But it doesn't feel right without hobbits.

Could try to populate the English countryside with Mexicans or Japanese or something. A lot of them are quite small.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

    80s music videos.

Running around with big hair and 80s getup through old movie sets, singing pop songs with my own group of backup dancers, having dance-offs with random people in the street.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

The world of Robert Jordan's books. The world is Earth of the future which contains myths, legends and stories which take elements of our world. One legend is about two giants named Mosk and Merk which hurdled giant spears of fire at each other. Merk is America, Mosk is Moscow or Russia. The spears of fire are missiles. Other legends include Queen Elisabeth, Anne Landers, Neil Armstrong, the Apollo missions formed into story which do not represent our time but rather ideas of the books timeline. Also the author has used cultures mixed together to form many of the people in his world. There are a people with mixed of Japanese and Byzantium cultures. English and French for the more liberal nation. Serfdom in one nation, democracy in another. The books contain a number of legend which are larger than life figures which is very similar to how we have created our own figures based on our own history. Also women are the dominate sex but not in the same way men are in our world. There is a nation in which only women can be the monarch. Women are the only sex which can use the book's "magic" safely as men go insane when the use it. Same sex relationships are ordinary which are never an issue as with our world.

I would love to study the history within this world more than anything else.

    Asterix's village.

He's no friend to the friendless
And he's the mother of grief
    There's only sorrow for tomorrow
    Surely life is too brief
