According to the London Dawah Movement, one of Islam's most recent converts is Kevin Roberston Christian.

It is strange that 'Kevin', speaks in broken English, has 'Christian' for a last name, and has nothing but cartoon cats on his facebook profile. But its even more strange that his facebook address says "mohamed.safran". Perhaps stranger still is the fact that Kevin's profile picture seems to be just a random white man, who actually turns out to be David 'Mac' McClelland, Director of Medical-outreach services for Medic-Aid Africa.

One of the other strange things about this facebook insert is that any christian who may be interested about what a priest or monk might think of the Bible would be a Roman Catholic as nearly all priests, nuns and monks belong to this denomination. Historically, studying the bible has never been a priority with the RC Church.

As opposed to a Christian Protestant fundementalist who is VERY concerned with the literal truth of the Bible - Who broke away from the Catholic Church, because of reasons like this, around 4 hundred years ago.

Within a history of bigotry and sectarianism, the likelyhood of the average protestant fundementalist being concerned about any opinion of the Roman Catholic church has always been about Zero.

The writer of this facebook insert obviously hasn't done his research about what happened to the Christian Church in the Western World durning the REFORMATION and what that looks like today.

Although this is a dud, but to be fair on their part, iERA have a shit load of ppl taking shahadah every other day, ensuring photographic or videographic (:S is that a word?) evidence that comes along with it.

Theres been hype about a indian singer this week as well and some guy who used to write for answeringislam.com apparently.

They like showing off all their converts because it "raises their iman" and they have a chance to boast how fast their religion is growing and "western women" are flocking to them since "equality" according to western liberal standards is nothing but bullshit. I know of Muslims who spend hours upon hours reading convert stories, mind you that at least half of those who wrote the stories are most probably apostates by the time the Muslim reads them. Especially "famous" people are very juicy, or someone who left another religion being very devout and "knowledgeable". Like the former rabbi/almost rabbi (?) Khattab who became a self-loathing jew slash extreme jihadist. Actually, had a friend who admitted in an e-mail some days ago how she always thought about me and how "strong" my faith was and the level of yaqeen I showed, and that it strengthened her iman... But now when I became an apostate, she's really confused. It's pathetic if you ask me.

Well, looking at the latest comments on the FB page, they are waking up and realizing it is a hoax.... Just wouldn't think that it would take that long to get snuffed out jeez. This reminds me, on a much smaller scale, the photoshop hoax several years ago of the 90 ft skeleton found in Saudi - that one caught on like wildfire.
