    The husband hopes to someday move up north (he thinks Vermont or Maine, but who knows where he'll end up) and have a few more dogs, so if you ever see a Saudi sledding his way through the snow with his dogs, give him a wave. Grin

    The breeder we got him from actually recommended that we tie a little sled to his harness in the winter and let him pull around some weights, so he might have fun tugging a kid around...

    What's more, there are other Saudis and Muslims getting to know our dog who like him now. The little monster dog is even on a few Muslims' facebook pages...some people posing with him or holding him awkwardly, because they've never carried a dog before. Grin

    That's like me with babies.  On a rare occasion that someone hands me one(HEY! u wanna hold my baby! umm no *TDR reluctantly hold it for few seconds*)

    I haven't heard anything about it. Just more than once my husband has tilted his laptop over for me to see, and there was a picture of one of his friends/his brothers with the dog on facebook. If they ever got questioned or criticized for it, I didn't hear about it, but I did wonder, too.

    Oh, me too! Whenever I hold one, I am completely stiff and concentrating. Fuck that, man. I can't hold onto anything. It's not like I can buy you a new baby if I drop it. Don't hand me your baby.

    Actually, the subject of adoption came up in some other context, and I got the idea that he really wasn't into it. He seemed to think it was kind of odd...I wouldn't mind, though.

    I do so many things now I couldn't do:
    - eat sausages, ham, pork schnitzels... how I missed them...
    - listen to music
    - walk around in shorts (never did before as I was always ashamed of my legs. Now I don't give a f*ck)
    - feel the air in my hair. That's so awesome!
    - talk to men and look them in the eyes
    - eat a proper gelly - much better than halal one
    - don't read labels on food anymore
    - watch a movie and don't turn my head from the tv when the actors are making out... and not feeling guilty about it
    - have male friends on facebook
    - walk on the street without the fear that my booty is shaking - no more "muslimah walk", yay!
    And the best one: knowing I'm a human again, deserving respect and rights I lost in islam.

    The Grimm Reaper is the personification of death, not necessarily the angel of death, but yes there are similarities.



    In some cases, the Grim Reaper can actually cause the victim's death, leading to tales that he can be bribed, tricked, or outwitted in order to retain one's life, such as in the case of Sisyphus.     Yeah i still have some abaya's from saudi theyre too pretty to throw away, they make great witches gowns at Halloween or fancy dress parties lol..
