    Hilarious. I think all of mine would cry, and one might try to beat me up. I am a candy miser, so Halloween has been waited for all year. It probably beats out all other American holidays.

    What a mean thing to do. I remember when I was that age I came downstairs and my mum told me she'd eaten all my precious chocolate. I was heartbroken. Still does it today if I leave chocolate unguarded for more than five seconds.

    Oh there's all sort of things. Food, music, songs, rhymes, rides if you go to the right place. Still, all in all growing up I loved the huge bonfires and the fireworks. Still do Smiley Though now I'm an adult there's also drinking dance

    Yup, my introduction thread was that I'm a gay ex-muslim and it went down the tubes after that. People there seem to lack logic and are really homophobic.

    I tried to ask some of the questions at that site which I posted on the forums here. The response was mostly hostile, dismissive or a cop out. No real answers that were backed up by sources. Most were just opinions and just post hoc rationalization. Things went down hill from there.

    My mom used  to come up to me and steal a piece of candy, or a french fry if we were out having burgers and yell, "quality control!"  I always found this really rude and annoying.

    Once, when I was around 12 or 13 and my brother must have been 15 or 16 some of my mom and step dad's friends gave us a chocolate basket filled with chocolate truffles for Christmas.  After Christmas day the chocolate basket just disappeared.  A few months later my brother found the remnants of it in the bottom of our mom and step dads' closet.   Our mother is a bit of a health nazi in that she has this idea that anything that tastes good must be bad for you ergo, good food must taste like cardboard or dirt.  She was always strict with what she  would allow us to eat at home and if I wanted any chocolate (which I LOVE and my mom treated it like it was some kind of mental illness I had) I had to pay for it with my own money.

    Fucking hypocrites!   My step dad turned out to be a total dick anyway and tried to fleece my mom when they were divorcing!  Fuck him!   finmad

    Okay, I'm done with my rant.

    All my threads have been delete along with my account. I can not log into access my profile to see if they moved my topics under a new name. The search came up with nothing. After glancing at a few of the new topics it seems to be habit to ban accounts and delete thread.

    Sounds like they do not like desertion among the ranks when someone backs up their arguments with source material. I suppose this is normal in religion as I see it in Christianity all the time especially when I discuss certain hot topics.
