Hi, I am ... An xMuslim from India.
I am glad to find this forum and I have been lurking since last three days reading the experiences of members, often relating them with my own, pausing and exclaiming "wow, isn't that exactly what I used to think?", "Hey! so, I'm not the only one who is going to Jahannum".
I'm sorry but my English is not very good. Also I'm not very good at putting my thoughts into words. I hope you guys will be considerate of that.
My dislike for this religion started from very early age. The teachings often left me confused. One day they will boast about how allah loves all his
makhlooqs; how merciful he is; that he will forgive all your sins if you just repent. The next day they will describe the horror of the hell in gory details; the punishment i will receive for watching
1/
2 hr cartoon show in TV. They taught me not to think ill of any person no matter how bad they are; yet they made me memorize certain "
fi-naaru-jahannum" (?) phrase which I'm supposed to say when I see a non-muslim person's funeral procession. My little self used to think "Allah made that guy a Hindu. Now he is going to punish him in hell for that. Why?"
These little doubts, questions & confusions of my childhood has made me what I'm today, an atheist. A better human being.
