    It's a self portrait in the style of Brett Helquist, who illustrated A Series of Unfortunate Events, a series I loved when I was little (and still do).

    I'm not a very good artist and cross hatching (that style of shading) is pretty hard.

    OMG that's actually really good! I like the first one. It looks really, like, artistic. Like you know those artists whose names I don't know, but they drew "feeling"? I feel like it's one of those!!
