    I think Hamza is a closet terrorist because he rarely speaks in favour of anything that serves the cause of humanity since most of his time is probably spent polishing theistic claims to care otherwise and seems to attacks certain topics that have been the favourite of various conservatives.

    WTF? Does he not fucking realize that he can propogate his religion BECAUSE of the freedoms afforded to him by Western values like secularism and freedom of speech? He goes a country utterly ravaged by Islamism and urges them to be even more fanatic. He does realize that he is putting Hoodbhoy's life in danger by calling him an apostate?

    A man with a towering intellect like Hoodbhoy shouldnt have wasted his time debating and thus validating this piece of human scum. Like somebody else on this thread said, why doesnt he move to Afghanistan or Saudi if he is loves Islamism so much? Instead he endangers the life of one of the few Pakistani secularists who has not yet left the country.

    If something happens to Hoodbhoy, Hamza should be held accountable for inciting murder.

    well that was biggest mistake Professor Pervez Hoodbhoy ever did .. Appearing with FOOLS on stage.,  at best what he should have done is conduct some sort of internet debate by writing answers and asking questions.,  It is much easy to corner the fools like Hamza Tortillas or Zakir Naiks in that way..

    Thank you for that video link Shahid., It is so nice to hear Pervez Hoodbhoy., I think what is needed With all these debates with Islamic idiots who wander around as Islamic intellectuals is   "Put Their words in to a PDF file" and hit them hard on web ., So I am looking for a software where it could turn words in to a Word file..  I wish some friends here could help me in that..   The Islamic world needs million Hoodbhoys  that could 10s of million bearded Baboons in to some Zoo..

    1hr 48mins 30 seconds is where Hamza rudely hurls dangerous (given that it's in Pakistan) accusations against Professor Hoodbhoy and he leaves in disgust. I've not watched the rest, but I can see why they might have waited til they hoped people had forgotten about it to release this vid.

    Watching it now, three reasons why it was a (well intentioned) mistake by Prof Hoodbhoy:

    1) The audience in Pakistan is always going to be strongly in favour of Hamza's arguments. I'm not a big fan of debates anyway, but it's always a mistake when you walk into a debate where the audience would never change their mind.
    2) He put himself in danger-whether we are talking about reputational or career-just to talk to a clown like Hamza? Not worth it.
    3) Hoodbhoy is a great scientist, but not a great spokesperson or spin-expert. Hamza isn't the best, but at least he has this skill-these dawahgandists are mainly experts in debates because that's all they can do-so it is a mistake for him to debate a spokesperson.

    All-in-all, it wasn't worth it.

    Hamza is such an instigator, he's like that little kid on the playground who hangs around with the big kids and the bullies and starts fights, and when the shit hits the fan he goes and hides behind the big kids.

    It's really quite a slanderous comment to say that he hates the Islamic world-he even said 'this is kufr' at the end which really does take it too far-and he says this never happens to him in Britain, because in Britain the audience can usually call him on his bullshit, and saying something like that isn't dangerous.

    I wouldn't say he got owned per se. Because straight after Hamza asked him to write something in arabic (Or explanation of something like that) and Hoodbhoy couldn't. So I'd say it evened out.

    I call this 'the cameron'. Mainly because I first heard this from Kirk Cameron. Every time he speaks he seems to start a sentence with 'I used to be an atheist......'. I'm sorry Mike Seiver, but being a 17 year old lapsed Christian isn't the same. Don't get me wrong, I don't accept people using the no true Scotsman falacy, nor do I labour under the illusion that no atheist/agnostic/secular humanist would convert to a religion, but usually when someone makes a point about it for the purposes of a debate then they aren't usually being completely honest.

    Just watching the debate now.  The girl at about 1:30:00 talking about the Quran mentioning the big bang and rain water and earth being egg-shaped is embarrassing and has made me facepalm.

    Hamza is just flexing his oratory skills as usual.
