And Gladfly I wasn't trying to "save" anyone. Though one of my motives was to show ex-Muslims exist and are not evil but ordinary people with very reasonable issues with Islam.

Hi Hassan - To be fair, it wasn't Gladfly who said you were trying to save them. It was I. It was meant in a noble sense, not a wannnabe messianic sense.

I wish I could save them.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

MFW I just saw ummah.com forum for the first time vv

Theyre not worth the effort, devilsadvokat. Maybe other muslims but at least not these people. I lost hope in "saving" those dimfucks. That horrible waste-of-skin Abu Mubarak told Hassan that he's worse than a pedophile, murderer, rapist altogether for being a murtad.

They didn't even try saving him, and told him to just ask Allah. Fuck saving those people, they should just grow a brain... and a heart... And balls

Someone said in chat "Good Trolling". Actually I wasn't trolling and I don't see how in any way my posts there could be seen as trolling. Like TR - I LOVE challenging myself, testing my views and just debating.

Gah, that was me and it was a joke. But then you left too soon for me to express my admiration of your patience and honest, open-minded discussion in that thread.  mysmilie_977

No problem Smiley  I do of course believe everyone has the right to make an 'informed' choice and Muslims deserve the opportunity to hear all sides of the argument. But I am not interested in trying to make anyone leave Islam. Everyone has their own journey and must make their own choices.

Yeah, even for Abu M that was pretty nasty.

But you know there are lots of people who read those forums but don't post much. I know at least 4 Muslims who used to be on there who are now ex-Muslims.

The loudmouthed idiots make the most noise on there but there are many who are not like that - though they feel brow-beaten into silence or agreeing.

They are the ones who benefit from hearing a dissenting voice.

I didn't go on there for the likes of Abu M.

Pretty much like Muslim society in general.

Also, good to see you back, Hassan. Smiley

Gladfly - you still have a one on one debate to take care of here.  C'mon, the whole forum is on tenterhooks to see who wins.

Seriously don't waste your time. I was looking to see if any of the folk I knew there back then are still in the same place - I was actually quite pleased to hear a couple I liked back in the day have left or hardly ever post there. The place really has too many immature and surprisingly ignorant (of Islam) Muslims there.
