Had never heard of her before this, just looked her up

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konnie_Huq

Hot, academically-gifted Bengali atheist chick-- sounds like a role model for stardust. Tongue

What the hell? I didn't know who she was either the other day so I wiki'd her and for religion it said "Atheist" now it says "Islam."

    Someone changed it?  Roll Eyes

Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

Yeah either way I thought it a bit strange it included a spot for religion for someone like her.. who doesn't seem to be outspoken about those beliefs anyway.

Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in.

    Worth bumping.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

    ---------------------
Were her parents strict? "Not by the standards of some Muslim Asian parents, but I think it was because I had two older sisters [Nutun, an architect, and Rupa, a lecturer who was a Labour candidate in the general election and may stand again]. They probably pushed the boundaries, so by the time it came to me they weren't too bad." She says she isn't a particularly observant Muslim. "I think religion is a code of rules ... for being a good person. That sounds really wank ... er, really poncy. But you know what I mean. I would say I'm a good person, as we know from my 10 years of being on Blue Peter."
    --------------------------

The article says that she says she's not a "particularly observant muslim", but she never actually says that !
