    so i take it most of u don't believe in talking snakes and talking burning trees ?

    the funny thing is not believing in talking snakes and talking burning trees makes u a social outcast ! what's even worse more then 50% of people on this planet believe those are factual occurrences

    In the hollywood blockbusters 'chronicles of narnia', '10 commandments' and 'lord of the rings' we all saw talking trees. However out of those films, only one of those do a large amount of people think it's non fiction. Guess which one  Roll Eyes

    @musivore I pretty much apatheist, as i dont give a flying fuck about religion and find it completely irrelevant to reality jsut as I find dragons and fairies irrelevant to reality. I've heard alot of pro-religion rhetoric in my life which basically focuses on the feel good factor of it and a load of philosophical hogwash, but not a crumb of  evidence of its humongous claims. So I figured let's see what those who have disposed of mythology from the dark ages have to say.

    I wouldn't regardless myself as anti-religious, more anti-bullshit. You have bullshit in political/economical/social ideologies too. As it happens out of no fault of mine, religions have a large doses of bullshit.

    God isn't a physical entity. The analogy I use is nothing can possibly exist as a physical entity within a vacuum, so nobody has labels to describe whether you believe anything exists or doesn't within a vacuum.

    i wouldn't regard myself as atheist. I really dislike labels but if u had to label me according to my religious views id be apatheist. Religions claims are irrelevant to my perception of reality as god takes no interest in my world and of nobodies else's. He doesn't intervene whilst billions of humans live on in suffering and torture, so I don't have to clarify a position on what doesn't take no involvement in the worlds day to day affairs.

    If god was to have an actual input into my life or somebody else, then maybe I'd feel the need to express a  viewpoint towards his existence.

    nah i never been a theist. as a child i was coerced into partaking in physically rituals, but if doing something physically is an indication of consent and approbation then then there would be no such thing the criminal charge of rape.

    Whatever you force or coerce someone to do physically you can not control a persons thoughts and imprison their mind and that's what pisses theists of more then any thing.
