You seem to know a lot about Gettier, Kant and Godel. Have you had any formal philosophy education? Would you say you agree with the conclusions of Gettier? if not, why not?

Why do you sometimes try to provoke one or two of the female members on here? Is the Q right in that you get some kind of masochistic pleasure when they retaliate?

Is your drug intake under control, now your wife is back on the scene?

Have you kicked the blues that you had a couple of months back (for now at least)?

You do seem really well read. What courses have you studied at uni (I remember reading somewhere you've been studied a few courses over the years)?

You're my hero, so can I add you to my Buddy list? I'm not sure what difference adding to a Buddy list makes, but I'm dying to try it out with someone.

Shit that's just lame. I was hoping for something magic. Well, something meaningful at least. It seems Os forgot to add the functionality he had intended when he first devised the Buddy list concept?

Besides that, it's good to have a friend on here at last Smiley

^^ Related to this, do you really think poor people should be prevented from having children, like you once said?

And if you're saying these things to just create controversy as z10 asked, is there any chance you can reign that in? You don't do yourself, or your reputation, any favours when you do make the occasional comment like this.

You seem to know a lot about Gettier, Kant and Godel. Have you had any formal philosophy education? Would you say you agree with the conclusions of Gettier? if not, why not?

Firstly, no I've not had any formal schooling in philosophy though I do tend to read alot. With respect to Gettier I agree with him on the concept of justified true beliefs since this goes back to epistemology i.e; the study of knowledge a belief can be logical yet unjustified, since it cannot be falsified for any practical reasons, this is going back to the ideas of Karl Popper. So in short I do agree with Gettier.

Here is a post I made for further reading on this:
    http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=12881.msg359099#msg359099

I like Kant's ideas of predicates and his critique of pure reason, with respect to Godel his incompleteness theorems established limitations of all but the most trivial axiomatic systems capable of doing mathematics. So even theory dependent truths have a limitation.

If you are in a hospital, and desperately need something from friends or family. And you call them, they say, you are bluffing and hang up. What will you do?

I don't keep non-dependable friends - assuming that did happen and they thought I was bluffing, I would get the nurse/doctor to talk to them I would ask them to ring into the hospital and confirm it. All else failing, I would ask a visitor in the hospital by giving him/her a financial incentive.

Why do you sometimes try to provoke one or two of the female members on here? Is the Q right in that you get some kind of masochistic pleasure when they retaliate?

Sometimes I do it for the lulz, other times it is because I am genuinely annoyed by them. I only get masochist pleasure from some of the ladies on here.

Well I don't have the funds to indulge myself my drug habit was pretty expensive. Though as soon as I get a job I think I will enjoy myself once in a while.

Yes. Well at the moment I don't feel too down.

In the early days I studied law, though dropped out and never completed it - I was about 19 - 20 at the time I was young and having fun. Then I did IT (CG) Text Processing - distinction. Then I did courses here and there, and finally this year I was hoping to get into university to do Psychology with Criminology at a degree level but I applied too late, wasn't accepted was told to do a year 0 foundation just to brush up on the basics. Now I am looking to go back to Uni in Jan 2013.

Yes, I play golf, tennis, and cricket I used to play for the school I was an all-rounder but since then I've lost the will to bowling so I play as a bats man, basically am starting to hit 30 and becoming lazy.

What was your best troll post/thread on this site?  grin12

Mostly likely in the old forum in the damnation section.

When did you start sniffing coke?, for how long have you been addicted to it? And How come?

I can't remember when I started, but I am not addicted to it. Am immune to addictions, I have very strong mind and an iron will, if I choose not to do something then I will not do it.

    About 10 millimeters.

    When did you leave Islam?

I left Islam in about 06/07 I got married after leaving Islam.

Why did you marry a Pakistani if you have a thing for white women?

Well this is a long story but this girl I promised her I'd marry her we knew each other before marriage we used to flirt around etc.

Do you really find rich people superior to others or do you just state this opinion because you find the outraged reaction to be funny?

Superior is not a word I would use, but I do believe in a class system.

^^ Related to this, do you really think poor people should be prevented from having children, like you once said?

Yes, those living in abject poverty should be prevented from breeding until their situation improves. Also I think incentives should be offered to the poor, i.e. money given to them if they opt into a program where they become infertile, and don't have children, we are living on a finite planet with finite resources, and we need to deal with this problems.

I don't believe in popularity contests - if someone can give a viable and logically sound argument against any of my controversial positions, I am happy to concede.

Is KT going to reply to any of these questions?

Thanks for answering your questions so plainly and honestly. I feel like I understand you a bit better now, and you're often a difficult guy to fully grasp.

About restricting those in abject poverty from having children: you don't sound so much of a fascist now that you've explained your viewpoint a bit more. I personally would prefer it if we focused more on the redistribution of the world's riches, along with the provision of eduction and opportunities for the poor. I realise that this may sound idealistic, but for me it is preferable to the infringement of an individual's right to have children, even if that is done humanely by offering incentives. However, I realise that both you and Naija have seen poverty around you, in a much closer way than I have in my sheltered life in the West, so who am I to argue with you guys?

Sometimes you have to make tough decisions even though they might be unpopular. Also I don't agree with the concept of re-distribution of wealth sounds alot like Socialism. It would mean penalizing the most productive of society. The reason why someone might have more wealth then you mostly comes down to productivity, the more productive the person/organization is the more capital they are going to have. Now to turn around and say, well such and such organization or person has so much money we should excessively tax them and give that capital to the least productive of society. Now you've created an incentive for folks to be less productive since the state will provide, and the most productive will see it as a penalization for being productive. Such a system cannot possibly work in the long run.
