    As a very proud woman, I had a major problem with Islam. Since being a good Muslim meant I had to be submissive to every male around which was impossible for me. I had to choose between Islam and my dignity as a woman. I started hating Islam for that reason solely when I was 15 but I ignored it. Then I watched a video of Wafa Sultan talking about other problems in Islam which made me realize it wasn't only the disrespect to women that was wrong, the whole thing is retarded and totally made up. I started studying the Quran and Ahadith very thoroughly and at the age of 17 I decided to leave Islam but I believed strongly in god so I looked into other religions and embraced Judaism without formal conversion. I lived like a Jew for a year but then I realized it was pretty much the same thing. Islam is Judaism's retarded little cousin since Muhammad plagiarized the Torah and the Talmud sometimes even literally, and both copy-pasted beliefs and practices of ancient Greek and Egyptian cults. That period of religious doubt and conversions was very painful for me, I couldn't sleep at night, I was literally devastated but then again that's what religion does to people. Now I define myself as an agnostic atheist and I am happier than ever.  We don't need religions to lead good lives, when I was a Muslim I was a terrible person since I was taught that Muslims have a passport to heaven as long as they pray and fast. This insecurity is so overwhelming and I am glad I was able to let it go grin12

    Yes they know. My dad disowned me, my brother won't talk to me. My mom and my sister are open-minded about it. Guess its something in the family, the males are just stupid morons  Roll Eyes
