  • So where does the Quran say that we should pray 5 times a day?
     OP - December 10, 2010, 01:24 PM

    Nowhere it seems.
Which brings one to ask: if the quran is perfect, which it is claimed to be, why is it lacking on the most basic of the teachings of islam?
Conclusion: The quran missed many points on islamic teachings and is therefore imperfect.

I'm open for debate (of why we should re-/embrace Islam), but I will no longer participate in this forum. Message me if you need anything. Good luck and may you all find your way... again...

luftazure the Quranists (only quran muslims) pray 3 times.. The way how you should pray and the direction of prayer are not described in the quran, hence you could theoretically do it as you wish...

Just look at the sun and the moon, rotating around the earth perfectly! Out of all the never ending space in the universe, the sun and moon ended up close to earth rotating around it perfectly.!!

    yeezevee,

i was only quoting what the sacred Wikipedia says about the Quranists (only quran muslims/ no hadith) .. here is the article... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quran_only

Normally I am not even an exmuslim, coz i never really was a muslim, i was only "born" in a "muslim" family, and that's how much islamic i ever was... Never prayed, never fasted.... The only islamic things i ever did or were imposed upon me are being circumcised and washing my ass. I am not an expert, so if u have any contra argument about the wiki article, please enlighten me, coz that's why i joined the forum....
