    Just playing around with it, and it seems to be a point source on a free surface. The divergent wave train appears once the speed gets high enough, or at least it looks like that, and you wouldn't get that with a submerged body. OTOH there are also Karmann vortices behind the little bugger, which doesn't really fit unless it has a big square arse on it.
